I am the secretary of the RNA St Ives (Cornwall) Also a strong believer that the Merchant Navy have long been ignored by HM Government. Especially regarding the vital contributions made to the country during both wars. The losses were severe, and to think that on being sunk during hostile actions resulted in pay being stopped. I am also an Ex Submariner albeit during peace time (only the cold war raging)and can understand the hate of submarine warfare by those vulnerable sailors keeping our country alive. I wish you all well, and if you should ever be in this part of the world on the third Monday of the month please attend one of our meetings, you will be most welcome. Keith Hodge
