St Patrick's Day service in Newcastle remembers Tyneside Irish WW1 veterans:
A service has been held on St Patrick's Day to honour members of the Tyneside Irish Brigade who served in the First World War.
The ceremony at Newcastle's Eldon Square war memorial in the city centre, comes in the centenary year of the start of World War One. It was attended by the Lord Mayor and veterans of the brigade.
