THE clipper City of Adelaide has completed her epic 13,000-mile journey from North Ayrshire to Australia, where she will take pride of place in Port Adelaide: Renamed HMS Carrick in 1922, she was berthed in Glasgow for 69 years as a floating naval club. Launched in 1864, she is the world's oldest clipper and the only surviving sailing ship to have carried migrants to Australia. LINK
