IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE INTERNATIONAL CEREMONY AT SWORD BEACH, OUISTREHAM
For security reasons, the French Government will not be issuing their invitations to the International Event at Sword Beach, Ouistreham until 3 June. Along with American and Commonwealth colleagues, the UK will have these invitations available for collection at the Welcome Centre, Caen Town Hall on the 4/ 5 June.
These invitations are largely being issued on a Normandy Veteran + 2 companions basis. However, it is expected that some capacity may become available for additional companions of Normandy Veterans. Where applicable, applicants will be contacted direct.
In the event that you are unable to collect your tickets from Caen Town Hall, arrangements are being made for an additional collection point at the “RBL Veterans Village” adjacent to the CWGC Bayeux Cemetery on 6 June.
Yours faithfully,
Dominic Rotherham
