our shipmates in the Merchant Navy,
the Fishing Fleets and the
Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service
who in Peace and War go down
to the Sea in ships and carry out
their work on Deep Waters,
never to return.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
