Attempting to find all and more RE: Ushakov, seems to be a news black out ?
I am trying to confirm the below regarding a Canadian request for the Ushakov Award:
I need to both confirm and find out if there is any relevance to our heroes at home, two years would be much to late for many.
The Russia Embassy said it could take as long as 2 years because the medal is issued directly from the Russian President's Office.
Would it be wrong if I asked Prime Minister Harper to mention to Vladimir Putin to accelerate the process for my grandfather's Ushakov Medal because the Russian Embassy is taking way too long?
