The National Executive have written letters and emails for over two years, Keith Greenway has been lobbying most persistently and Richard Woodman was asked to select the ships to be placed on a set of stamps for the Merchant Navy at war to coincide with next year’s Battle of the Atlantic (BOA) anniversary. I hinted at a positive result in the MNDCS Commemorative brochure but it is now a successful outcome for another MNA campaign. We must always remember that this would not have been achieved had we not had a respected UK wide national organisation…please encourage more seafarers and supporters to join and build an even greater consensus for recognition and remembrance.
